Panel Agency Limited holds a chain of custody certificate SGSCH-COC-000570 with the Forestry Stewardship Council® and offers FSC® certified products upon request across most product types. This ‘Chain of Custody’ helps us guarantee that the wood we use comes from responsibly-sourced ‘FSC®-approved’ forests. As the wood products pass from the forest, to the sawmill, onto a manufacturer and then onto us; this chain of custody remains intact and has a full documentary trail.
Using this process allows the FSC® to enact the 10 FSC® principles forming the foundation of a forestry standard where FSC®-certified forests are managed to strict environmental, social and economic standards. More than 160 million hectares of forest are managed to FSC® standards around the world.

View our FSC CertificateWe also hold a chain of custody Certificate SGSCH-PEFC-COC-020022 with the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification [PEFC] and can also offer PEFC certified products.
PEFC Chain of custody certification tracks forest-based products from sustainable sources to the final product. It demonstrates that each step of the supply chain is closely monitored through independent auditing to ensure that unsustainable sources are excluded.

View our PEFC CertificateAs a long term former member of the Timber Trade Federation we are now members of its successor trade body the Timber Development UK who are the independent supply chain body for timber products in the UK. We also subscribe to their Responsible Purchasing Policy (RRP). Using this as a framework we carry out a due diligence process on every supplier to ensure that they can provide documentary evidence for their source of logs. We also visit many of our suppliers to carry out independent checks and are separately audited by the Soil Association. RPP is a risk management framework for the continuous improvement of TDUK members’ awareness, understanding and capacity for meeting the UK Timber Regulation (UKTR), the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) and TDUK Code of Conducts.
